Your parents are the missing link

We were once again browsing through creationist websites looking for evidence against the theory of evolution. We reached this one:

THE SCIENTIFIC CASE AGAINST EVOLUTION: A SUMMARY* PART I - IMPACT No. 330 December 2000
by Henry M. Morris, Ph.D.**

- 'First of all, the lack of a case for evolution is clear from the fact that no one has ever seen it happen.'

- 'If it were a real process, evolution should still be occurring, and there should be many "transitional" forms that we could observe.'

We were indeed worried about these claims against the theory of evolution. Could it be that evolution was an event on a grand scale without any reliable witness (similar to the creation of everything by some deity)? And is it really true that we can't see any transitional forms? Should we really throw evolution in the garbage bin?

Our researchers worked day and night the find the answer and found a very shocking one.

No one has ever seen evolution happen? Yes, many of us have seen it happen but could not cope with the mental shock that came with it. Remember when you heard strange noises emanating from your parents bedroom. Was daddy hurting mummy? No, to your shock they were very much trying to be active participants in the process of evolution. We speculate that religiously inclined people cannot deal with this experience on a psychological level and completely block this crucial information from their mind. Any suggestions to overcome this situation are welcome.

Where are all the transitional forms then?

Look no further than your father and mother although after your previous experience you probably don't want to look them in the eye. Your mother and father are transitional forms between you and your grandparents. Now go and evolve and blame your parents for everything.
