Feedback to 'Why Tigers have stripes'

COMMENTS:

Actually, stripes of a tiger are horizontal. If you think a human crawling or walking with hands and legs, you can notice that vertical stripes turn to horizontal.

REPLY BY SPURIOUSMONKEY:

Dear Researcher of Life,

We were not aware of the fact that humans still crawled on their hands and feet. Or are you trying to say that tigers used to walk upright and were fat?
